We are leaving another year behind, bitter and sweet. Like every year, we all have goals and hopes for this new year. In this article, we aim to support each other by listing the goals we think we should all aim for. Why don’t you take a notebook and list your goals for 2023?

Smile a lot!

  • Laugh more and sulk less! We realize that life is not always happy, but you have to learn that despite the ups, downs and unhappiness, you should always smile. At first you may find it difficult to maintain your happiness and smile consistently, but as you learn to do it, it will become your behavior.

Don’t Hesitate to Socialize

  • Make it your 2023 goal to socialize more. Friends are few and far between, but the more people you know, the easier and deeper your self-discovery will be.

Savor the Moment

  • Plan for the future, of course, but don’t be afraid to live in the moment. Living constantly future-oriented will cause you to miss the moment. Investing in the future, planning for the future, suffering now for a comfortable life in the future will be quite a heavy burden for you. Thinking about the future keeps us connected to life, but living for the future means ignoring the present. You shouldn’t waste your present moment for a future you don’t know what will happen.

Improve Yourself

  • Don’t be afraid to learn something new. A new language, a new hobby, new movies, new music… Every new thing you learn will improve your creativity, self-confidence and social intelligence.

Don’t Be Afraid of Confrontation

  • Don’t be afraid to face your mistakes and people. You may not have confronted most people and your mistakes until now because of the possibility that the answers you receive may upset you. However, the answers you receive from the other person will make you stronger and help you learn from your mistakes. Stop running away from yourself and people because you are afraid of being offended in 2023!

Accept it

  • Learn to accept. There is only one remedy for all the negative things that happen to us, and that is acceptance. Learn to accept death, separation, quarrels, all bad things. Over time, you will notice that you get used to it and feel happier.

Bring Health into Your Life

  • Try to live a healthy life, but don’t obsess about it. The universe is completely based on a balance. While trying to eat healthy foods, indulge yourself so that you don’t get out of balance. Eat less of your favorite but harmful foods instead of cutting them out completely.

Don’t Give Up

  • Try to make each new year much better for yourself than the previous one. You will be better motivated by the change that occurs the moment you start making an effort.

Don’t be a Perfectionist!

The perfectionist structure is very harmful for the person, but it is also a personality structure that the person can control to a great extent by self-suggestion and distraction. It is very important for a healthy state of mind to know that sometimes one cannot be enough for everything and that things may not always go well. It will be of great benefit in terms of keeping the feeling of burnout away from his/her life.

• Setting more attainable goals instead of high and unattainable goals is an important step in preventing Burnout Syndrome. Being objective in evaluating one’s own share in the problem helps to overcome the burnout process.

• One needs to be aware of one’s own mood and spend more time with oneself. Blaming the difficulties experienced on the system or looking for responsible individuals is a common situation that increases the severity of burnout. Therefore, one should stay away from these self-destructive ways of thinking.

  • You need to make sure that there is a balance between work and private life and that your work doesn’t take up too much time. Improving communication in the work environment, increasing sharing, dividing responsibility, resuming activities that used to be enjoyed and discovering new activities have a very important place in overcoming the process.
  • Also, people with this problem can sometimes feel too helpless to seek help. In such cases, the relatives of the person also have important responsibilities. In such cases, you may want to consider seeking professional help.
